Toyota celebrates 20 years of Prius

Toyota is celebrating the twentieth year of its landmark Prius hybrid this year. The automaker will launch a special edition of its 2021 Toyota Prius this year “with black inserts on the wheels, headlights, body sides, and side mirrors… [and] only 2,020 of the special edition models will be sold,” according to The Car Connection. The Prius made its debut in 2000 with an EPA rating of 41 mpg combined. The most recent models of the vehicle have attained 56 mpg combined, a sizable increase. Read more.
