Ford’s hybrid sales not hurt by reductions to fuel efficiency ratings

An article in Green Car Reports.com notes that sales of Ford’s hybrid vehicles haven’t been hurt by bad publicity resulting from two reductions in EPA gas-mileage ratings for the C-Max. Ford sold 86,000 hybrids in 2013 and is on pace to sell more than 90,000 hybrids in 2014. Read more.

October 2013 Hybrid Car Sales Report

There were 33,565 hybrid cars sold in the U.S. in October 2013.  Toyota continues to lead the way with three Prius models combining for over 40% of all hybrid sales. For the year, hybrid sales are up 19% compared to 2012.
