With each season, new hybrids hit the market, and Web2Carz has released a round-up of the best hybrids in 2018. Toyota has three hybrids on this year’s list: the 2018 RAV4 Hybrid, 2018 Prius and 2018 Camry Hybrid were all included. The RAV4 Hybrid is a “practical crossover” and “the vehicle you should get if you want a crossover with all-wheel drive … [and] good gas mileage” according to Wade Thiel at Web2Carz. The Prius perennially makes the list of top hybrids, and the 2018 model year is no different. With estimated mileage of 51mpg city and 54mpg highway, Toyota’s Camry Hybrid was also a strong feature.
The 2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid may be a car model without guaranteed future model years, but it does have 43mpg city and 41mpg highway that, along with its consumer-focused design and features, secured its spot on the list. Honda’s car, the 2018 Accord Hybrid, “is more engaging to drive and better in just about every way” than its previous iterations and powers to 47mpg in both city and highway scenarios.
Hyundai and Kia closed out the Web2Carz list with the 2018 Ioniq Hybrid and 2018 Niro Hybrid, respectively. Both models offer impressive mileage, with each attaining over 50 mpg in the city and similarly strong highway mileage. Read more.
