Plug-in hybrid Tiguan spotted on test in Sweden

Volkswagen’s plug-in hybrid Tiguan has been undergoing road testing in snow-covered Sweden. The Tiguan PHEV is expected to have a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine, in combination with its electric assistance. When in full-electric mode, the Tiguan is expected to have about twenty miles of range.

Though VW has yet to announce where the Tiguan PHEV will be released, the model may be unveiled in full at the Beijing Motor Show in April. For photos and a breakdown of its features, read more.
