Jeep to add additional PHEV in 2020

Jeep has announced that it will begin producing a plug-in hybrid version of its Renegade model in Italy in the near future. The Renegade PHEV will hit the market in early 2020, according to a new article from Green Car Reports.

Jeep’s parent company, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), has thirty different new electrified models set to launch or for sale across all of its brands. FCA has announced it will invest $10.3 billion to aid in its electrified push. Jeep itself will launch a PHEV version of its Wrangler in addition to the plug-in Renegade. Eric Evarts has the story.
