Hyundai’s dedicated hybrid may offer better fuel economy than Toyota Prius

Green Car Reports says when Hyundai introduces its first dedicated hybrid vehicle, it may outperform the Toyota Prius in terms of fuel economy. The Prius, with 55-mpg combined fuel economy, has defined hybrid efficiency for more than a decade.

Hyundai’s dedicated hybrid, which has not yet been named, will be the world’s first vehicle model with hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and battery-electric variants.
