Winter weather continued to affect auto sales in February 2014, but hybrids saw a modest increase this month. A total of 30,561 hybrids were sold in the US in February, a 10.9% increase over January but down more than 23% compared to February 2013.
Toyota saw its market share dip to 58.5% in February, the lowest percentage in years. Ford increased its market share to 17.3% thanks to increase sales of the Ford Fusion (up 18.8%) and C-Max (up 37.4%).
