2021 BMW 530e electric range test
Earlier this month, Cars.com carried out an electric range test of the BMW 530e. In EV-only mode, the vehicle hit 28.4 miles, far above the rated 21 miles. The BMW 530e has a 12kWh battery, and is powered by a 2L, turbocharged 181hp engine and a 107hp electric motor. Read more

BMW adds geo-fencing for PHEVs in Europe
BMW has launched a new geo-fencing feature for its plug-in hybrid vehicles in two areas in the UK. In special zones in London and Birmingham, BMW PHEVs running the automaker’s latest update will now automatically shift into electric-only mode.
