Bentley, the luxury automaker, has announced plans to expand their electrified lineup with an additional plug-in model. At present, Bentley offers a plug-in option for its Bentayga vehicle. The Bentayga PHEV employs a 3L turbo V6 in combination with an electric motor. Car Scoops speculates Bentley’s new PHEV will utilize a version of the Bentayga powertrain, which is actually a “reworked version of the Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid.” The PHEV will be part of Bentley’s Continental GT line, and should debut next year under a 2020 MY.
