Audi to launch plug-in A6 Avant in Europe

Audi will launch a plug-in hybrid version of its A6 Avant for the European market. According to a new report from Auto Blog, the automaker plans to release a plug-in hybrid version of the model featuring “a turbocharged, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque.” The model will share its plug-in platform with the previously released hybrid Audi A7 and Q5. The plug-in A6 Avant won’t be available in the U.S., but it’s on sale now in some European markets. Read more.
